Stree 2 Box Office Day 35: Rajkummar’s Film Records Highest Week 5 Collection; Beats URI: The Surgical Strike

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 35: Rajkummar Rao is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood who has proved his mettle time and again. Give him any role and genre, and the versatile actor will leave no stone unturned to give a stupendous performance. After winning hearts with a phenomenal performance in Srikanth and Mr & Mrs Mahi, Rajkummar is now making headlines for the third release of the year. We are talking about Stree 2 which marks his second collaboration with Shraddha Kapoor. The horror comedy is the sequel to the 2018 release Stree and is helmed by Amar Kaushik.

Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana in the lead, Stree 2 revolved around the sarkata bhoot haunting the women of Chanderi. Stree 2 opened to rave reviews from the audience and went on to record the highest opening of 2024. Stree 2, which witnessed a box office clash with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa, has managed to crush the other releases. This isn't all. Stree 2 which witnessed a freeway at the ticket windows for almost a month, has been unfazed by the new releases as well.

Interestingly, Stree 2 has been going strong at the box office in the fifth week as well and has been creating new records every week. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 minted Rs 2.5 crores on day 34 (fourth Tuesday) followed by an earning of Rs 1.89 crores on day 35 (fourth Wednesday) and took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 562.24 crores. Interestingly, Stree 2 recorded the highest day 34 collections of all times.

Stree 2 Highest Week 5 Box Office Collection

As Stree 2 has completed five weeks at the box office, it has managed to create several records at the box office so far - be it becoming the 4th biggest first-week grosser, 2nd biggest second week grosser, biggest third week grosser and biggest fourth week grosser. And now, it has created another record as it has recorded the highest week 5 collection. To note, Stree 2 has made a collection of Rs 25.75 crores. It has managed to beat the week 5 collection of Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike which had earned Rs 18.74 crores in its week 5

Meanwhile, Rajkummar is now gearing up for the release of his fourth film of the year. We are talking about Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video opposite Triptii Dimri which is slated to release on October 11. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is touted to be a comedy drama.
