Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2 Beats Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan On Fourth Weekend

Rajkummar Rao's film Stree 2 has swiftly beaten Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan as of fourth Sunday. On its fourth Saturday, the horror-comedy earned Rs. 8.5 Cr, and on fourth Sunday, it earned Rs. 10.75 Cr, according to the early estimates by Sacnilk. As of fourth weekend, the total India nett collection of the film stands at Rs. 527 Cr.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan earned Rs. 520.18 Cr nett from India at the end of fourth weekend. That means, Rajkummar's Rao's film has beaten the Shah Rukh Khan's film by almost 7 Cr. Furthermore, the film has also beaten Gadar 2's lifetime collection from domestic box office.

Stree 2, stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, is the sequel of 2018's horror comedy, Stree. The movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the film is bankrolled by Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios.

Earlier, the makers has also hinted at making the threequel of the horror comedy and expanding the Stree universe with a spin off on Shraddha's mysterious character.
