Stree 2 vs Khel Khel Mein vs Vedaa Advance Booking Day 1 Update: The movie buffs are in for a massive treat this Independence day as three big films are set to hit the screens. We are talking about Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank, Akshay Kumar's multi-starrer comedy drama Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's action drama Vedaa. It is going to be an intense competition and looks like Stree 2 is set to give other films a hard to other releases.

To note, given the big clash, the makers of the respective films had initiated the advance booking days ahead of the release and Stree 2 has witnessed a phenomenal response so far. For the uninitiated, Stree 2, which is the sequel to 2018 release Stree, is a horror comedy which is helmed by Amar Kaushik. Also starring Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead has managed to sell over 3.8 lakh tickets so far and made a collection of Rs 11.37 crores.

Stree 2 Crushes Khel Khel Mein & Vedaa In Advance Booking

Interestingly, Stree 2 has crushed Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa ahead of the release itself with its mammoth advance booking collection. Yes! You read it right. According to a report published in Khel Khel Mein, which also features Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor etc, has sold just 15 thousands tickets and has minted Rs 55 lakhs from advance booking collection so far.

On the other hand, John Abraham starrer Vedaa, which marks his first collaboration with Sharvari, is also struggling to touch Rs 1 crores mark at the box office with its advance booking collection. The action drama has sold over 23 thousand tickets and has earned Rs 56.67 lakhs so far.

While Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa are yet to cross Rs 1 crores mark with its advance booking, it is evident that Stree 2 has managed to crush Akshay's comedy drama and John's action drama. And with the three movies locking horns on Independene Day 2024, Stree 2 is likely to overpower all the releases at the box office.

Meanwhile, talking about Stree 2, Rajkummar Rao had told Film Companion, "Same word, same people. It's bigger for sure, same duniya, kuch nahi badla hai. I think jo soul thi uss film ki wo isme bhi hai".
