Stree 2 vs Khel Khel Mein vs Vedaa Box Office Collection Day 5: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's recently released horror comedy Stree 2 has been one of the biggest releases of the year. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the movie has been roaring loud at the box office since the day one. Interestingly, Stree 2 witnessed a box office clash with Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham and Sharvari starrer Vedaa. As the box office clash has managed to create a massive buzz, fans have been curious to know who has been leading the game.

Well, Stree 2 has managed to witness a phenomenal start at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores (including paid reviews) whereas Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa were seen struggling at Rs 5.05 crores and 6.3 crores respectively. In fact, as Stree 2 went on to roar loud at the box office during the opening weekend, this Rajkummar and Shraddha starrer gave Akshay and John's films a tough time during the opening weekend. Yes! You read it right. While Stree 2 was standing tall with a collection of over Rs 190 crores, Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa struggled to touch Rs 15 crores mark post the opening weekend

Stree 2 CRUSHES Khel Khel Mein & Vedaa On First Monday

While the first Monday plays a crucial role in a movie's box office success, Rajkummar's Stree 2 has managed to maintain a good hold at the box office on first Monday despite a major dip in numbers. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 raked in Rs 38.1 crores wherein Khel Khel Mein minted Rs 2 crores and Vedaa struggled at Rs 1.5 crores on its day 5 (first Monday). It's evident that Stree 2 has crushed Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa at the box office.

Meanwhile, this marks Akshay's third box office clash with John Abraham on Independence day after Gold vs Satyameva Jayater in 2018 and Mission Mangal vs Batla House in 2019. Talking about Khel Khel Mein clash with John's Vedaa, Akshay had stated, "Clashes at the box office keep happening. It's not a big deal at all. It's just a clash and not a slash"
