Stree 2 vs Khel Khel Mein vs Vedaa BO Day 6: Shraddha’s Film Mints 24 Times More Than Akshay & John’s Film

Stree 2 vs Khel Khel Mein vs Vedaa Box Office Collection Day 6: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's second collaboration Stree 2 has emerged as one of the biggest releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. The horror comedy, which has been helmed by Amar Kaushik, brings a new story from Chanderi as the city fights the fear of sarkata bhoot. Also starring Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead, Stree 2 has been opened to rave reviews from the audience.
While Stree 2 has been witnessing a box office clash with Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa, the movie has been witnessing a phenomenal run with an opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores (including paid reviews). On the other hand, both Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa were seen struggling to get a double digit opening as well. And now, as the movies have completed six days of release, fans have been curious to know which movie has been leading the box office game.
Stree 2 vs Khel Khel Mein vs Vedaa Box Office Collection Day 6
Well, no points for guessing, Stree 2 has been leading with an impressive box office collection. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 raked in Rs 25.8 crores yesterday (day 6/ first Tuesday) taking the overall collections of the movie to Rs 255.35 crores. To note, Stree 2's day 6 collection is almost 24 times higher than that of Khel Khel Mein (Rs 1.2 crores) and Vedaa (Rs 80 lakhs). It is evident that Stree 2 has completely crushed Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa and is making it difficult for Akshay's film and John's film to survive.
Meanwhile, talking about the phenomenal success of Stree 2, Amar Kaushik told Connect Cine, "I didn't expect this big response. I think the audience wants such films to come out. Where ever I would go, people kept asking me 'What is the end of Stree?' This film was made on public demand. We didn't hurry with this film because we wanted to do justice to the story. We thought it clicked well with the public when we released the trailer but when we opened the advance ticket sale, we were like, 'What is happening?' This is just love of the public".
