Stree 2 Box Office Records In Week 1: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 has been one of the most talked about horror comedies of all time. The movie happens to be the much anticipated release of the year and was helmed by Amar Kaushik. Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in the lead and Akshay Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan in cameo. As Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank was released amid massive buzz, it opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics.

For the uninitiated, Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank revolved around Chanderi town who was now facing the fear of Stree's fatal enemy Sarkata bhoot. Unlike the first installment, Stree 2's villain aka the sarkata bhoot was targetting the women of the village. From the star cast to songs, plot and performances, everything about Stree 2 has managed to win the hearts. Interestingly, Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank has set the box office on fire ever since it has hit the screens and has emerged as the highest grossing film of the year.

• Highest opening day collection of 2024

With an opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores (including paid reviews), Stree 2 has managed to beat Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's Fighter which minted Rs 22.5 crores on its day of release.

• Highest Opener for Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor

As Stree 2 raked in Rs 60.3 crores (including paid reviews), it also marked the highest opening day collection for Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao respectively.

• 2nd Highest Opening Day Collection

Stree 2 also recording the second highest opening day collection ever after Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan (Rs 65.5 crores) after raking in Rs 60.3 (including paid reviews)

• 6th Fastest Movie To Cross 100 Cr

Stree 2 has been roaring loud at the box office and became the sixth fastest movie to cross Rs 100 crores club after Pathaan, Animal, Jawan, Tiger 3 and KGF 2. Yes! Stree 2 minted Rs 135.55 crores in 3 days.

• 4th Fastest Movie To Cross 200 Cr

Much to everyone's surprise Stree minted Rs 229.55 crores in 5 days and became the fourth fastest movie to cross Rs 200 crores mark after Jawan, Animal and Pathaan

• 7th Highest Day 3 Collection

With a collection of Rs 43.85cr, Stree 2 recorded the 7th highest day 3 collection of all time after Jawan, Animal, Gadar 2, Sanju, Baahubai 2 and Tiger Zinda Hai respectively

• 4th Highest 1st Saturday collection

As Stree 2 minted Rs 43.85cr on its first Saturday post release, it recorded the fourth highest first Saturday collection after Jawan, Animal and Pathaan respectively

• 4th Highest 1st Sunday Collection

With a collection of Rs 55.9cr, Stree managed to beat Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 and recorded fourth highest first Sunday collection after Jawan, Animal and Pathaan collection.

• 2nd Highest Day 4 Collection

Interesting, after minting Rs 55.9cr on day 4 of release, Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank recorded the second highest day 4 collection after Jawan

• 4th Highest Day 5 Collection

Stree 2 made a collection of Rs 38.1cr on its day 5 and registered the fourth highest day 5 collection after Pathaan, Gadar 2 and Sultan

• 5th Highest First Monday Collection

With a collection of Rs 38.1cr on its first Monday, Stree 2 recorded the fifth highest first Monday collection after Tiger 3, Baahubali 2, Animal and Gadar 2

• 4th Highest Day 6 Collection

Despite witnessing a continuous dip in numbers, Stree 2 mintd Rs 25.8cr on day 6 post release and recorded the fourth highest day 6 collection after Gadar 2, Animal and Baahubali 2

• 8th Highest First Tuesday Collection

After recording the fourth highest day 6 collection, Stree 2 also recorded the eighth highest first Tuesday collection with an earning of Rs 25.8cr after Gadar 2, Tiger 3, Animal, Baahubali 2, Kick, Simmba and War

• 8th Highest Day 7 Collection

As Stree 2 made a collection of Rs 20cr on day 7, it turned out to be the eighth highest day 7 collection ever after War, PK, Gadar 2, Baahubali 2, Animal, Pathaan and Jawan

• 5th Highest Week 1 Collection

Interestingly, Stree 3 has made a collection of Rs 275.35cr in week 1 and it happens to be the fifth highest week 1 collection ever after Pathaan, Jawan, Animal and Gadar 2
