Stree 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 11: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 has emerged as one of the biggest releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror comedy also featured Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in the lead along with cameos by Akshay Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan. While Stree 2 was the much anticipated sequel of the 2018 release Stree, the movie had opened to stupendous reviews.

Marking Shraddha and Rajkummar's second collaboration, Stree 2 has been creating waves at the box office ever since it was released on August 15. Despite witnessing a box office clash with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa, Stree 2 made an opening collection of Rs 60.3 crores (including paid reviews). Interestingly, Stree 2 has been creating waves at the worldwide box office and has been achieving new milestones every day.

Interestingly, Stree 2 saw a phenomenal jump during the second weekend and entered the coveted Rs 500 crore club on day 11. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 minted Rs 90 crores overseas on day 11 of release which took the overall worldwide collection of the movie to Rs 540 crores. To note, Stree 2 has now become the 14th highest-grossing Bollywood film at the worldwide box office and 23rd highest-grossing Indian film in the world.

Meanwhile, talking about the phenomenal success of Stree 2, Amar Kaushik told Connect Cine, "I didn't expect this big response. I think the audience wants such films to come out. Where ever I would go, people kept asking me 'What is the end of Stree?' This film was made on public demand. We didn't hurry with this film because we wanted to do justice to the story. We thought it clicked well with the public when we released the trailer but when we opened the advance ticket sale, we were like, 'What is happening?' This is just love of the public".
