Stree 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 16 Prediction: Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has been one of the most talked about films this year. After all, the horror comedy has set a new benchmark in the horror genre and has emerged as the highest grossing film of 2024. Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in the lead, Stree 2 has managed to open to rave reviews from the audience and critics alike not only in India and across the world.

After an opening day worldwide box office collection of Rs 80 crores, Stree 2 went on to have a strong hold at the box office during the first week and minted Rs 380 crores mark in the first week at the worldwide box office. However, the horror comedy has slowed down during the second week at the worldwide box office and seems to be struggling to cross Rs 20 crores in a day. But despite the continuous drop in numbers, Stree 2 has been maintaining a good hold at the worldwide box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 has witnessed a continuous drop in collections in the second week. After minted Rs 20.25 crores on day 13 (second Tuesday), Stree 2 raked in Rs 14 crores yesterday (day 14/ second Wednesday). It is reported that the horror comedy made a collection of Rs 11.25 crores yesterday (day 15/ third Thursday) which took the overall worldwide collections of the movie to Rs 617.25 crores. Interestingly, Stree 2 is all set to surpass the lifetime worldwide collection of Prabhas' Salaar Part 1 (Rs617.75 crores)

Given the ongoing trend, Stree 2 is expected to mint Rs 10-15 crores today (day 16/ third Friday) and will be inching close to Rs 630 crores at the worldwide box office. If the reports turned out to be true, Stree 2 will be crossing the lifetime worldwide collection of Salman Khan's 2016 release Sultan which had minted Rs 627.82 crores during its run

Meanwhile, talking about the phenomenal success of Stree 2, Amar Kaushik told Connect Cine, "I didn't expect this big response. I think the audience wants such films to come out. Where ever I would go, people kept asking me 'What is the end of Stree?' This film was made on public demand. We didn't hurry with this film because we wanted to do justice to the story. We thought it clicked well with the public when we released the trailer but when we opened the advance ticket sale, we were like, 'What is happening?' This is just love of the public".
