Stree 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 19 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 has been doing wonders at the box office not only in India but across the world as well. This was well expected from the horror comedy which has been the most anticipated sequel to 2018 release Stree. Also starring Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana, Stree 2 is helmed by Amar Kaushik and has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics.

Interestingly, Stree 2 recorded the highest opening day collection of the year in India with Rs 60.3 crores. The Amar Kaushik directorial took the worldwide box office with a storm as well as it minted Rs 80 crores on the first day. Stree 2 has been maintaining a good hold at the worldwide box office throughout the first week week and saw a significant jump in numbers during the second weekend. And as Stree 2 has been shattering records at the box office with every passing day, it continues to be unstoppable even in the third week.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 saw a significant growth in collections during the third weekend. It is reported that the horror comedy made a total collection of Rs 688.25 crores on day 18 of release. In fact, Stree 2 has managed to beat the lifetime worldwide collection of Gadar 2 which happens to be around Rs 686 crores.

Given the ongoing trends, Stree 2 is likely to see a significant drop in number today (day 19/ third Monday). The horror comedy is likely to mint Rs 10-15 crores today at the worldwide box office and will be seen inching close to Rs 700 crores worldwide.

Is Stree 3 On Cards?

Meanwhile, Abhishek Banerjee has spilled beans about the third installment of Stree series and told Indian Express, "It will take time. Now that Stree 2 has become such a big hit, I know that it won't take six years to make it, like we did with Stree 2. That's for sure. Some parts of the script are already written. It is going to be a big epic saga and as an actor I am dying to be back on that set".
