Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Box Office Day 1: Film Fails To Beat Kabir Singh, Bhediya With Decent Margin

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's first collaboration Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has finally hit the screens on February 9 and the audience can't keep calm. Also starring Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in the key roles, the movie happens to be a science fiction romance comedy and has managed to create a substantial buzz in the town. However, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has opened to a lukewarm response from the audience.

To note, the fans have been in awe of Shahid and Kriti's chemistry and the Kabir Singh actor's dancing skills. However, despite the weak story line turned out to be major setback and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has to settle for mixed review from the audience. In fact, as per the buzz on social media, Janvhi Kapoor's cameo in the film also couldn't save the film.

Speaking of the box office collection, according to a report published in Sacnilk, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is likely to open with a collection of Rs 6.50 crores. If the reports turned out to be true, TBMAUJ has failed to beat the opening day collection of the 2019 release Kabir Singh and the 2022 release Bhediya. For the uninitiated, Kabir Singh minted Rs 20.21 crores on the first day while Bhediya earned Rs 7.38 crores (Hindi). It will be interesting to see if Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya will able to pick up pace during the opening weekend.

Meanwhile, Shahid has been all praises for Kriti and stated, "I was looking forward to working with Kriti because I have enjoyed her work.. in the last few years she has raised the bar as an actor. Some of the work that she has done is a very mature work of an actor, not just a star who is also an actor but an actor from her heart. From the first film, you can see that Kriti has a lot of potential and she wants to perform. And then when I met her, I found her to be chilled out, and intelligent.. she was talking about things in a way that was interesting and exciting. And I was curious to understand who she is as a person."
