Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Box Office Day 12: Shahid’s Film To See Its Lowes Collection On 2nd Tuesday

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon is new much talked about onscreen pair in the town and they are surely winning hearts with their sizzling chemistry. The duo was seen sharing the screen space for the first time in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya along with Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia and it has been receiving mixed reports so far. Helmed by debutants Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the movie happens to be a science fiction romantic comedy featuring Kriti in the role of a humanoid.

As the movie opened to mixed reviews, it has been seen struggling at the box office since the first day. Starting its box office journey with Rs 6.5 crores, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya saw a massive dip in the first week itself. Although it did record its highest single day collection on Valentine's Day, the hike was short lived.

Interestingly, TBMAUJ saw another jump during the second weekend wherein it managed to cross Rs 58 crores mark. However, this Shahid and Kriti starrer saw another downfall with a dip of over 60% on the second Monday. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has raked in Rs 2.25 crores yesterday (day 11/ second Monday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 60.45 crores.

Given the trends, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is likely to see its lowest single day collection so far today. The movie is likely to mint around Rs 1.5-2 crores at the box office today (day 12/ second Tuesday). In fact, it has minted Rs 9 lakhs so far from the morning shows and the numbers will be increasing during the day.

Meanwhile, Shahid has been all praises for Kriti and stated, "I was looking forward to working with Kriti because I have enjoyed her work.. in the last few years she has raised the bar as an actor. Some of the work that she has done is a very mature work of an actor, not just a star who is also an actor but an actor from her heart. From the first film, you can see that Kriti has a lot of potential and she wants to perform. And then when I met her, I found her to be chilled out, and intelligent.. she was talking about things in a way that was interesting and exciting. And I was curious to understand who she is as a person."
