Shahid Kapoor, who had won millions of hearts with his romance drama Kabir Singh, is now making headlines for a yet another love story these days. We are talking about Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which marks his first collaboration with Kriti Sanon, Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia. The movie happens to be a science fiction romantic comedy and narrates the love story of a human and a humanoid.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya opened to mixed reviews from the audience and witnessed a lukewarm response at the box office. With an opening day collection of Rs 6.5 crores, the movie witnessed a decent spike in collections during the opening weekend. However, the first Monday turned out to be a disaster for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya wherein it saw a drop of over 60% in numbers.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya made a collection of Rs 3.75 crores yesterday (day 4/first Monday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 30.85 crores. Given the trend, the movie will be seen struggling on today (day 5/ first Tuesday) and will be struggling to make Rs 4 crores at the box office. In fact, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is likely to make around Rs 2-3 crores today.

Meanwhile, Shahid has been all praises for Kriti and stated, "I was looking forward to working with Kriti because I have enjoyed her work.. in the last few years she has raised the bar as an actor. Some of the work that she has done is a very mature work of an actor, not just a star who is also an actor but an actor from her heart. From the first film, you can see that Kriti has a lot of potential and she wants to perform. And then when I met her, I found her to be chilled out, and intelligent.. she was talking about things in a way that was interesting and exciting. And I was curious to understand who she is as a person."
