Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Box Office Collection Day 6: Shahid’s Film Beats Fighter On First Wednesday

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon collaborated for the first time in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and the chemistry has left everyone in awe. The science fiction romantic comedy, which also featured Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia, has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. And while Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has opened to mixed reviews, it witnessed a slow journey at the box office.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya started the box office journey with a collection of Rs 6.7 crores on the opening day followed by a decent opening weekend. And while it was seen struggling during the week days, this Shahid and Kriti starrer witnessed an impressive jump in collections during on Valentine's Day. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya recorded its highest collection ever yesterday (day 6/ first Wednesday) and minted Rs 6.75 which will the overall collection of the movie to Rs 41.35 crores

Interestingly, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has managed to beat Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter in terms of its first Wednesday collections. For the uninitiated, Fighter had minted Rs 6.5 crores on its first Wednesday at the box office.

Meanwhile, Shahid has been all praises for Kriti and stated, "I was looking forward to working with Kriti because I have enjoyed her work.. in the last few years she has raised the bar as an actor. Some of the work that she has done is a very mature work of an actor, not just a star who is also an actor but an actor from her heart. From the first film, you can see that Kriti has a lot of potential and she wants to perform. And then when I met her, I found her to be chilled out, and intelligent.. she was talking about things in a way that was interesting and exciting. And I was curious to understand who she is as a person."
