Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon have been all over the headlines these days as they have come up with a perfect Valentine's Day gift for the fans this year. Also starring Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in the key roles, the movie happens to be a science fiction romantic comedy which was released amid substantial buzz.

However, despite a decent buzz, the movie failed to leave a mark on the audience and opened to mixed reviews from the audience. In fact, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya witnessed a slow start at the box office with a collection of Rs 6.7 crores. And while it was seen struggling during the weekdays, this Shaihd and Kriti starrer left everyone stunned after it recorded its highest collection on Valentine's Day. Yes! Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya minted Rs 6.75 crores on Valentine's Day (day 6/ first Wednesday).

However, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya saw a 50% dip in collections yesterday after Valentine's Day (day 7/ first Thursday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, the movie minted Rs 3.25 crores which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 44.6 crores. Given the trend, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is likely to see a steady growth at the box office today (day 8/ second Friday) and is expected to mint Rs 2-3 crores ahead of the second weekend. It will be interesting to see if TBMAUJ will be seeing any growth during the weekend.

Meanwhile, Shahid has been all praises for Kriti and stated, "I was looking forward to working with Kriti because I have enjoyed her work.. in the last few years she has raised the bar as an actor. Some of the work that she has done is a very mature work of an actor, not just a star who is also an actor but an actor from her heart. From the first film, you can see that Kriti has a lot of potential and she wants to perform. And then when I met her, I found her to be chilled out, and intelligent.. she was talking about things in a way that was interesting and exciting. And I was curious to understand who she is as a person."
