Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Day 1 Box Office Collection: Shahid-Kriti's Film Vs Fighter First Day Numbers

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya box office collection: The first day numbers for Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's flick are here. The movie, which released on February 9, opened with expected numbers. While the romantic comedy looked promising when the trailer was unveiled, it was met with mixed reviews.
TBMAUJ REVIEW
Filmibeat editor Aashu Mishra called the film 'bland' and said that 'half-baked writing' ruined the essence of Shahid and Kriti starrer. She mentioned that the two celebrities showcased their sizzling chemistry but were not supported with a strong screenplay.
"Some scenes are entertaining in bits & parts but overall falls flat, the concept of love between human & robot badly crashes!!! #ShahidKapoor is brilliant in his loverboy avatar but his character Aryan feels superficial #KritiSanon as robot Sifra takes the cake in this otherwise mismatched film. The dialogues of the film are extremely corny & also building a plot around the concept of big fat Punjabi wedding looks clichéd!! Legendary Dharmendra ji's character is completely wasted as an alcohol loving dadaji and looks absurd to watch him on screen like that! Overall Shahid and Kriti's pairing looks fresh but the half-baked writing, poor direction & predictable story makes it a dull watch (sic)," her tweet read.
TERI BAATON MEIN AISA ULJHA JIYA DAY 1 BOX OFFICE COLLECTION
TBMAUJ collected Rs 7.02 crore on its opening day at the box office. The film, which has faced criticism for its writing, will have to perform better on Saturday and Sunday to gain a considerable first weekend total.
Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first day box office collection of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya on social media. He mentioned that the film started on expected lines, adding that the film performed better in metro cities
"#TeriBaatonMeinAisaUljhaJiya opens on expected lines on Day 1... The numbers witnessed momentum post noon onwards, especially at key metros... Urban centres take lead... Day 2 [Sat] should witness growth, with national chains taking the biz forward... Fri ₹ 7.02 cr. #India biz (sic)," he tweeted.
TERI BAATON MEIN AISA ULJHA JIYA VS FIGHTER
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's film has earned 3 times less than Fighter, which opened with Rs 24.60 crore, as per Indian Express, who quoted Taran Adarsh.
Both Fighter and TBMAUJ were much-hyped films of first quarter of 2024. While Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's aerial action drama has suffered a crash in terms of numbers, it remains to be seen how much Sifra and team earns at the box office.
