Thangalaan Hindi Box Office Collection: With Vikram's No Hold In Hindi Market; Will Pa Ranjith's Film Do Well?

Thangalaan Hindi Box Office Collection: Pa Ranjith's Tamil film Thangalaan starring Chiyaan Vikram, Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan was released on 15th August 2024. The film received positive reviews, but when it comes to box office the movie has received a mixed response. Now, after Tamil, the Hindi dubbed version of the film is all set to release on 30th August 2024.

Well, Chiyaan Vikram is clearly one of the most popular names in the Tamil film industry. But, when it comes to the Hindi market, the actor doesn't have a strong hold.

His last two films Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 and Part 2 were dubbed and released in Hindi, and while the part 1 had received an average response, part 2 was a flop in Hindi. PS 1 collected Rs. 25 crore at the box office, and PS 2 collected Rs. 14 crore. Also, when it comes to the Hindi dubbed version of the movies, of course, two names that pulled the audiences to the theatres were Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mani Ratnam.

His 2015 release I (Hindi Version) had received a very average response at the box office with a collection of Rs. 11.22 crore, and even David, which was a Hindi-Tamil bilingual was a flop. While maybe his movies get positive reviews, box office wise Hindi dubbed versions have not done well.

Now, Thangalaan is all set to release in Hindi, and while the trailer of the film has received a decent response, let's see if with this movie finally Chiyaan Vikram will be able to make a mark in Hindi market or not.

If we talk about the film's collection, Thangalaan in 11 days has collected Rs. 42.65 crore (Tamil and Telugu) which is quite average. So, let's see if the Hindi version will give the movie's collection a boost or not.
