Tumbbad Re-Release Box Office Collection Prediction Day 10: Sohum Shah's horror-fantasy drama 'Tumbbad' has been winning hearts and how! Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, the 2018 epic horror saga 'Tumbbad' made its way back to cinemas on 13th September 2024. Ever since the the re-released in theatres, it maintained its strong hold at the ticket windows despite other releases. Headlined by Sohum Shah, the film was a box office flop back then but eventually earned the 'cult-classic' tag over the years... thanks to OTT and digital satellites.

Tumbbad, which follows the story of Vinayak's (played by Sohum Shah) search for a hidden 20th century treasure in a village named Tumbbad, Maharashtra, took the box office by storm after its re-release. According to reports, the movie earned Rs 1.65 cr on the day of its re-release, followed by Rs 13.44 cr in 1st week.

Tumbbad saw a hike on 2nd Friday due to the National Cinema Day on Sept 20 and minted around Rs 3.04 cr. As per reports, the horror-drama maintained its hold at the box office despite a slight drop on 2nd Saturday and collected Rs 2.75 cr, taking the total estimated collection to Rs 19.45 cr in 9 days.

Given the current buzz, the Sohum Shah starrer is all set to cross the Rs 20 cr mark today (2nd Sunday, Sept 22). The film is likely to earn between Rs 2.5-3.5 cr on day 10 (today).
