Ulajh Box Office Collection Day 1: Janhvi Kapoor has been all over the headlines these day for her recent release Ulajh which has been one of the most talked about movies of the year. Also starring Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang and Adil Hussain in the lead roles, Ulajh happens to be a spy thriller which has been helmed by Sudhanshu Saria. The movie happens to be a spy thriller featuring Janhvi in a never seen before role and marks her first collaboration with Gulshan Devaiah.

To note, Ulajh revolves around a young IFS officer who is stuck in a dangerous personal conspiracy amidst a career-defining post far away from her home. The movie witnessed a mixed response from the audience and critics. Interestingly, Ulajh marks Janhvi's second release of the year after Mr & Mrs Mahi also starring Rajkummar Rao. Though Ulajh has managed to create a substantial buzz in the town, it has witnessed a slow start at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Ulajh made a collection of Rs 1.1 crores as per early estimates. If the reports turned out to be true, Ulajh has turned out to be Janhvi's lowest opener ever. Interestingly, Ulajh has been witnessing a box office clash with Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and it will be interesting to see if Ulajh can beath the Neeraj Pandey directorial.

Meanwhile, talking about Ulajh, Janhvi told Variety, "I've never taken so much ownership of a film and been so obsessive or sensitive about a film before. They really made me feel involved and empowered, and I have a voice. It's a very good feeling because I've never taken so much ownership or had this much of an opinion on everything that has to do with the film"
