Ulajh Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: Janhvi’s Film Struggles In Week 1 As AMKDT Continues To Lead

Ulajh Box Office Collection Prediction Day 5: After lauding Janhvi Kapoor's performance in Rajkummar starrer Mr and Mrs Mahi, the audience had been eagerly looking forward to the diva's second release Ulajh. And while the spy thriller managed to create an impressive buzz with its intriguing trailer and the star cast, Ulajh seems to have failed to create a buzz at the box office since the first day. For the uninitiated, Ulajh has been directed by Sudhanshu Saria and revolves around an IFS officer who is stuck in a dangerous situation.

To note, apart from Janhvi, Ulajh also features Gulshan Devaiah, Adil Hussain, Roshan Matthews and Rajesh Tailang in key roles. The movie opened to mixed reviews from the audience and saw a slow start at the box office since the first day. After raking in an opening day collection of Rs 1.15 crores on first Friday, Ulajh was seen struggling at the box office during the opening weekend itself.

Ulajh Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Ulajh minted Rs 1.75 crores on day 2 (first Saturday) followed by a slight growth on day 3 (first Sunday) wherein it earned Rs 2 crores. However, the first Monday came as a real shocker as Ulajh saw a drop of over 70% in collection and failed to touch Rs 1 crores mark. To note, Ulajh had minted Rs 57 lakhs yesterday (day 4/ first Monday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 5.47 crores. Given the trend, Ulajh will continue to struggle today (day 5/ first Tuesday) and earn Rs 40-50 lakhs at the box office.

For the uninitiated, Ulajh has been witnessing a box office clash with Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and this Neeraj Pandey directorial has been maintaining a lead since the first day.

Meanwhile, talking about Ulajh, Janhvi told Variety, "I've never taken so much ownership of a film and been so obsessive or sensitive about a film before. They really made me feel involved and empowered, and I have a voice. It's a very good feeling because I've never taken so much ownership or had this much of an opinion on everything that has to do with the film"
