Ulajh Box Office Day 8 Prediction: Janhvi’s Film Struggles To Touch 8Cr Ahead Of Second Weekend

Ulajh Box Office Collection Prediction Day 8: After winning hearts with her performance in Mr & Mrs Mahi opposite Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor is back with her second release of the movie and the audience couldn't keep calm. We are talking about Sudhanshu Saria directorial Ulajh which happens to be a spy thriller. Also starring Gulshan Devaiah, Rajesh Tailan, Adil Hussain and Roshan Matthews in the lead, Ulajh revolves around a young IFS officer who is stuck in a dangerous situation. While the trailer managed to intrigue the audience, Ulajh opened to a mixed response from the audience.
In fact, Ulajh has been struggling at the box office since the first day itself. After recording an opening day collection of Rs 1.15 crores Ulajh became Janhvi's lowest opener ever and failed to pick up pace during the opening weekend as well. And the first Monday shattered Ulajh's hold at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Ulajh saw over 67% drop in numbers and failed to touch Rs 1 crores mark post the opening weekend.
Ulajh Box Office Collection Day 8 Prediction
After raking in Rs 65 lakhs on day 4 and day 5 respectively, Ulajh minted Rs 55 on day 6 (first Wednesday) followed by a collection of Rs 47 lakhs yesterday (day 7/ first Thursday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 7.22 crores. Given the ongoing trends, Ulajh, which has been facing a box office clash with Ajay Devgn and Tabu's Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, will be seen struggling and rake in Rs 40-45 lakhs today (day 8/ second Friday). It is evident that Ulajh is having a hard time touching Rs 8 crores mark and with Urvashi Rautela's Ghuspaithiya hitting the theatres today, this Janhvi starrer has another competition.
Meanwhile, Gulshan Devaiah, who has collaborated with Janhvi for the first time, spoke about the box office report and said, "Struggle is the salt that makes success taste good. The ones who don't embrace the struggle will never achieve anything worthwhile. This is a tough business. Period. Feature films are meant to be seen on the big screen. Hit flop toh chalta rahta hai (Films will either be hits or flops). As pragmatic as I am about a lot of things, I'm not willing to let go of my idealism when it comes to cinema. I also don't expect people to understand this. It's a very personal thing for me"
