Ulajh vs Auron Mein Kahan Box Office Day 10: Janhvi Kapoor Beats Ajay Devgn During Second Weekend

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha vs Ulajh Box Office Collection Day 10: The month of August witnessed its first box office clash between Janhvi Kapoor's Ulajh and Ajay Devgn's Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, and both the films started on a slow note for both the movies. For the uninitiated, Ulajh, which also features Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Matthews, is a spy thriller while Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Jimmy Sheirgill, is a romantic thriller backed by Neeraj Pandey.

While both the movies had managed to create a substantial buzz in the town, Ulajh saw a slow start at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 1.15 crores. On the other hand, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha had a lead since the first day with an opening day collection of Rs 1.85 crores. And while it was a close competition, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha did manage to give Ulajh a hard time and had a lead every day until the second weekend.

Interestingly, the second weekend came with a twist for Ulajh and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Yes! While both the films have been struggling at the box office, Ulajh managed to beat Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha during the second weekend. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Ulajh raked in Rs 58 lakhs on second Saturday followed by a collection of Rs 67 lakhs on second Sunday which took the overall collections to Rs 8.8 crores.

On the other hand, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha minted Rs 54 lakhs on second Saturday and take in Rs 61 lakhs on second Sunday which took the overall collections to Rs 11.6 crores. While Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is still leading in the overall collections, second weekend numbers have certainly turned the tables.

With the box office looking forward to a mega clash this week between Stree 2, Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein, it will be interesting to see if Ulajh and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha will be able to survive during the second week.
