Vedaa vs Khel Khel Mein Advance Booking Day 1: Akshay Kumar is one of the most talked about and successful actors in Bollywood who never misses out on a chance to entertain the audience. After hitting the big screen with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira early this year, Akshay is now coming up with his third release of the year and the audience can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Khel Khel Mein which also features Taapsee Pannu, Aditya Seal, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan etc in the lead.

Helmed by Mudassar Aziz, Khel Khel Mein is a comedy drama which the official Bollywood remake of the Italian film Perfect Strangers. The movie marks Akshay's second collaboration with Vaani Kapoor after Bell Bottom and third with Taapsee after Baby, Naam Shabana and Mission Mangal. As Khel Khel Mein has managed to create a substantial buzz in the town, it is all set to witness a box office clash with John Abraham and Sharvari starrer Vedaa. Needless to say, both the movies have managed to create a buzz in the town and the makes have initiated the advance booking of both the movies days before the release.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Khel Khel Mein has witnessed a slow response in terms of advance booking and sold 5465 tickets and made a collection of Rs 22.32 lakhs. On the other hand, Vedaa, which is releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, is giving a tough competition to Khel Khel Mein as it has managed to sell over 10 thousand tickets so far with an advance booking collection of Rs 29.97 lakhs. It is evident that John's Vedaa has managed to beat Akshay's Khel Khel Mein.

To note, this happens to be Akshay and John's third box office clash so far. The duo had earlier locked horns in 2018 with Akshay's Gold and John's Satyameva Jayate and then in 2019 with Akshay's Mission Mangal and John's Batla House. Talking about the box office clash, Akshay told News18 Showsa, "We're close buddies. Clashes at the box office keep happening. It's not a big deal at all. It's just a clash and not a slash"
