Veer Zaara Re-release Worldwide Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta starrer 2004's film, that emerged to become one of the cult classics of the current generation, has been released again in theatres and the movie got the much-deserved recognition in terms of box office collection. Yes, you heart it right, the cult-classic film has finally crossed Rs. 100 Cr in its worldwide box office collection upon the release on September 13.
Veer Zaara Re-release Crosses 100 Cr At Worldwide Box Office
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh decoded that Veer Zaara collected Rs. 20 lakhs on its opening day on Friday, September 13. On Saturday it earned Rs. 32 lakhs on Saturday while on Sunday, it collected Rs. 38 lakhs. On Monday, the movie earned Rs. 20 lakhs while on Tuesday, the minted Rs. 18 lakhs. The Wednesday and Thursday collection stand at Rs. 15 lakhs and Rs. 14 lakhs respectively. With this, the total domestic box office collection of the movie is now Rs. 1.57 Cr, while from overseas, it collected Rs. 23 lakhs. The September re-release total stands at Rs. 1.80 Cr while the initial re-release of the film in February, this year was Rs. 30 lakhs.
For the unversed, the movie had earned Rs. 61 Cr at the domestic and Rs. 37 Cr from the overseas box office, which make the total initial collection of the movie stands at Rs. 98 Cr. Adding both the re-release collection and the previous collection, the total lifetime collection of the film now crosses Rs. 100 Cr. To note more, the film had also earned Rs. 2.50 Cr, over the period of 2005 to 2023, making the total lifetime collection Rs. 102.60 Cr.
