Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 10 (Hindi): Rajinikanth’s Film Sees Hike But Mints Half Of Jailer’s Number

Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 10 (Hindi): It's been 10 days since Rajinikanth came with his first full fledged movie and the fans can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Vettaiyan which is helmed by T.J Gnanavel and happens to be an action drama and boasts a stellar cast of Rajinikanth, Rana Daggubati, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahad Faasil, Abhirami, Rithika Singh, Manju Warrier, Rao Ramesh, Ramesh Thilak and Dushara Vijayan. Needless to say, Vettaiyan happens to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

The movie features Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan in the role of police officers while Rana Daggubati is seen as the lead antagonist. The movie also marks Amitabh Bachchan's debut in the Tamil industry along with his reunion with Rajinikanth after over three decades. As Vettaiyan had hit the theatres amid massive buzz in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages, it received rave reviews from the audience.

Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 9 (Hindi)

As Vettaiyan had been witnessing a continuous drop in collections during the first week, the second week came with a breath of fresh air for film especially in the Hindi market. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Vettaiyan made a collection of Rs 14 lakhs in the Hindi market on day 9 (second Friday). It saw a hike and raked in Rs 25 lakhs on day 10 (second Saturday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 3.59 crores

Vettaiyan Fails To Beat Jailer With Huge Gap

As Vettaiyan has been witnessing continuous comparisons with Rajinikanth's 2023 release Jailer. However, despite a hike in numbers, Vettaiyan failed to beat Jailer on its second Saturday. For the uninitiated, Jailer had minted Rs 0.45 crores on the second Saturday.

Vettaiyan OTT Release Update

According to media reports, Vettaiyan is expected to have its digital release soon. The movie is expected to release on Prime Video next month (November). However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement about Vettaiyan OTT release.
