Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 7 (Hindi): Rajinikanth’s Film Crosses 3Cr In Week 1; Beats Jailer

Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 7 (Hindi): Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan has been all over the headlines ever since it was announced. After all, this T.J Gnanavel directorial is an action drama marks Rajinikanth's first full fledged film of the year. Besides, Vettaiyan also marks Amitabh Bachchan's debut in the Tamil industry along with his reunion with the Thalaiva after over three decades. Needless to say, Vettaiyan has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

While both Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan play the role of police officers in Vettaiyan, they are seen fighting Rana Daggubati who is the lead antagonist in the film. The movie also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rithika Singh, Manju Warrier, Abhirami, Dushara Vijayan, Rao Ramesh and Ramesh Thilak. As Vettaiyan has managed to open to rave reviews, it has been witnessing a decent performance at the box office.

Interestingly, after an opening day collection of Rs 31.7 crores (all languages combined), Vettaiyan opened with Rs 60 lakhs collection in the Hindi market. After witnessing a drop in numbers on the first Monday, Vettaiyan has been maintaining a steady hold at the box office in the week one. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Vettaiyan raked in Rs 4.3 crores on day 7 (first Wednesday) (all languages combined) out of which, it had minted Rs 23 lakhs in the Hindi market. As a result, the total collection of Vettaiayn in the Hindi market stood at Rs 2 crores.

Vettaiyan Beats Jailer In Week 1

As Vettaiyan has made a collection of Rs 3 crores in the Hindi market in the first week. Interestingly, it has managed to beat Rajinikanth's 2023 release Jailer with decent gap. For the uninitiated, Jailer had minted Rs 1.9 crores in its week 1 in the Hindi market.

Vettaiyan OTT Release Update

According to media reports, Vettaiyan is expected to have its digital release soon. The movie is expected to release on Prime Video next month (November). However, the makersare yet to make an official announcement about Vettaiyan OTT release.
