Vettaiyan Box Office Day 14 (Hindi): Rajinikanth’s Film Mints Half Of Jailer’s Numbers Despite Steady Hold

Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 14 (Hindi): Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan has been one of the biggest releases of the year. After all, it not only marks the Thalaiva's first full fledged release of 2024 but also marks Amitabh Bachchan's much talked about Tamil debut. Directed by T.J Gnanavel, Vettaiyan happens to be an action drama and has managed to create a massive buzz in the town with its stellar cast and intriguing trailer and storyline. Interestingly, Vettaiyan also marks Rajinikanth and Amitabh's fourth collaboration as they reunited after three decades.

Also starring Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Rithika Singh, Abhirami, Rao Ramesh, Dushara Vijayan and Ramesh Thilak in the lead, Vettaiyan has managed to create a massive buzz in the town. To note, Vettaiyan features Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role of cops as they fight Rana Daggubati who is seen as the lead antagonist in the film. Besides, Rajinikanth's action mode has also left the audience in awe. To note, Vettaiyan had released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages and has managed to win hearts across the world

Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 14

Interestingly, it's been two weeks since Vettaiyan had hit the screens and it opened to a slow but decent response in the Hindi market. However, the second week came with a significant drop in numbers. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Vettaiyan saw a massive dip in numbers on day 12 (second Monday) but has been maintaining a steady hold at the box office ever since. In fact, the movie has raked in Rs 10 lakhs at the box office in the Hindi market on day 14 (second Wednesday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 4.19 crores.

Vettaiyan Mints Half The Collection Of Jailer

Despite the buzz and the positive reviews, Vettaiyan has failed to beat Rajinikanth's 2023 release Jailer in the Hindi market. In fact, Vettaiyan minted half of Jailer's collection on day 14. For the uninitiated, Jailed had earned Rs 27 lakhs on its day 14 of release.

Vettaiyan OTT Release Update

Interestingly, of late there has been a massive buzz about Vettaiyan's OTT release. According to media reports, Vettaiyan is expected to have its digital release soon. The movie is expected to release on Prime Video next month (November). However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement about Vettaiyan OTT release.
