Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction (Hindi): Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan has been one of the most talked about releases of the year. After winning hearts with his cameo in Lal Salaam earlier this year, Rajinikanth is coming with his first release of 2024 as Vettaiyan and it has been making headlines ever since it was announced. The movie happens to be directed by T. J. Gnanavel and it is an action drama which also features Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Abhirami and Ramesh Thilak.

Interestingly, Vettaiyan, which has been released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, not only marks Amitabh Bachchan's debut in the Tamil industry but also marks his reunion with megastar Rajinikanth after 33 years. They were last seen in the 1991 release Hum wherein they played the role of step-brothers. As Vettaiyan has managed to create a massive buzz in the town, the movie opened to rave reviews and a slow start at the box office in the Hindi market

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Vettaiyan made an opening day collection of Rs 60 lakhs on the opening day in the Hindi market. The movie failed to beat the opening day collection of Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) which had minted Rs 1.85 crores on the first day in the Hindi market.

Given the ongoing trend, Vettaiyan is likely to see a hike in collections on day 2 in the Hindi market. To note, it happens to be Amitabh Bachchan's 82nd birthday and his fans are likely to throng at the box office on the big occasion. As a result, Vettaiyan is expected to touch Rs 1 crores today at the box office.

Vettaiyan Box Office Clash

Meanwhile, Vettaiyan is witnessing a box office clash with Alia Bhatt's Jigra and Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri starrer Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video in the Hindi market. It will be interesting to see if Vettaiyan will manage to beat the other two films at the box office in the coming days.
