Yudhra Box Office Collection Day 4: Siddhant’s Film Sees 66% Dip On First Monday; Fails To Earn 1Cr

Yudhra Box Office Collection Day 4: Siddhant Chaturvedi has been one of the most versatile and talented actors. Ever since he made his debut with Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy, Siddhant has been a part of several iconic films and has won millions of hearts with his acting prowess. And now, Siddhant is making headlines for his recent release. We are talking about Yudhra which is an action thriller. Helmed by Ravi Udyawar, the movie also features Malavika Mohanan, Raghav Juyal, Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, Raj Arjun and Shilpa Shukla etc
The movie revolves around a young guy named Yudhra (played by Siddhant Chaturvedi) who deals with anger issues and is giving an undercover mission to bring down a drug syndicate Firoz (played by Raj Arjun) and his son Shafiq (played by Raghav Juyal). While the movie opened to mixed reviews, Raghav Juyal has managed to leave a mark with his performance as the lead antagonist. Interestingly, Yudhra made an opening day collection of Rs 4.5 crores making it the highest opener for Siddhant and Raghav. However, the opening weekend came with a lot of struggle as the movie saw significant drop in numbers on second day. For the uninitiated, Yudhra minted Rs 1.75 crores on day 2 (first Saturday) followed by an earning of Rs 2.25 crores. To note, Yudhra made a collection of Rs 8.5 crores post the opening weekend

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Yudhra saw a drop of over 66% in collections on day 4 (first Monday). The movie failed to rake in Rs 1 crores on first Monday and minted Rs 75 lakhs which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 9.25 crores.
Meanwhile, talking about Yudhra, Siddhant told DNA, "It's a very personal story of revenge. We never had a reference. Obviously, we knew we had to do something path breaking with the action. It has to look raw and real. We would not do it just for its effect. No fight or no violence should be just for style or for shock value. Action always has a purpose behind it."
