Yudhra Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: It's Friday and it's that time of the week when a new film hits the screens. And this time, it is Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan starrer Yudhra which is hitting the screens. Directed by Shridhar Raghavan, Yudhra happens to be an action film and the dialogues have been written by Farhan Akhtar and Akshat Ghildial. Also starring Raghav Juyal, Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, Raj Arjun and Shilpa Shukla, Yudhra has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Interestingly, Yudhra features Raghav Juyal as a menacing villain and the posters and trailers have managed to create a massive buzz in the town. The movie marks Siddhant and Malavika's first collaboration and also Raghav's second film as an antagonist after Kill. Needless to say, everyone is eagerly looking forward to the grand release of Yudhra and looks like it is expected to have a good start. In fact, as Yudhra is releasing on National Cinema Day (September 20), it is expected to encash the opportunity as well.

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert and producer Girish Johar stated, "It has been mounted on a very big scale. Visuals are quite exciting and it's an exciting cast of Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan, so it's looking quite good. It's an urban actioner, traction is quite decent but it is targeting multiplexes and tier 1 cities. Music is okay, hopefully it picks up with the film post release. It can have a decent start and everyone has decent expectations from the film. I would be happy if the film opens anywhere around Rs 1.5-2cr to start with and then it can build upon. National Cinema Day hai and ticket prices are low, so uska benefit bhi milna chahiye. It can go over Rs 2 crores if it intrigues the audience depending upon the content and acceptance by the audience".

Interestingly, Yudhra is being compared to Nikhil Nagesh Bhat's directorial Kill, which hit the screens earlier this year and featured Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, Tanya Maniktala. If the reports turned out to be true, Yudhra is expected to beat the opening day collection of Kill. For the uninitated, Kill had raked in Rs 1.25 crores on its day of release

Meanwhile, talking about Yudhra, Siddhant told DNA,"It's a very personal story of revenge. We never had a reference. Obviously, we knew we had to do something path breaking with the action. It has to look raw and real. We would not do it just for the effect of it. No fight or no violence should be just for style or for shock value. Action always has a purpose behind it."
