120 Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 1: Farhan Akhtar has been all over the headlines and rightfully so. After all, he has made a comeback on the big screen after 4 years. Yes! Last seen in the 2021 release Toofan, Farhan is now creating waves for his recent release 120 Bahaur which is a historical war drama. Directed by Razneesh 'Razy' Ghai, 120 Bahadur features Farhan Akhtar in the role of Major Shaitan Singh along with Raashii Khanna as his wife Shagun Kanwar. Needless to say, 120 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
To note, 120 Bahadur is produced by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios. For the uninitiated, 120 Bahadur narrates the events of the Battle of Rezang La, a key engagement during the Sino-Indian War. On 18 November 1962, 120 soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment's Charlie Company faced off against nearly 3,000 Chinese troops. These soldiers, all belonging to the Ahir community, displayed extraordinary courage in defending their position despite being vastly outnumbered. According to a report published in Sacnilk, 120 Bahadur saw a slow start at the box office and minted Rs 2.35cr on day 1 (first Friday)

While Farhan Akhtar had called 120 Bahadur Lakshya 2 during one of his interviews, the war drama has been facing comparisons with Hrithik Roshan starrer 2004 release Lakshya. As 120 Bahadur opened to a decent response, it managed to beat Lakshya which had earned Rs 2.19cr on its day of release

Given the fact that the weekend has begun, 120 Bahadur is expected to see a hike in numbers today (day 2/ first Saturday). The war drama is likely to mint Rs 4-5cr today and will be inching close to Rs 10cr mark
Meanwhile, as Raashii collaborated with Farhan for the first time in 120 Bahadur, she has been all praises for the latter.
