Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan Box Office Collection Day 2: Shanaya Kapoor has become the centre of attention with her entry into the film industry. Her debut in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan has been eagerly awaited. Directed by Santosh Singh, this romantic drama also stars Vikrant Massey. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, which minted just Rs 30 lakhs on the first day of release, saw a slight hike in numbers but failed to touch Rs 1 crores in two days of release. The movie minted Rs 43 lakhs on day 2 (first Saturday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 73 lakhs.

To note, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan witnessed a box office clash with Rajkummar Rao's Maalik. However, the Rajkummar Rao starrer, which minted Rs 5.25 crores on day 2, has crushed this Vikrant-Shanaya starrer at the box office.

Meanwhile, as Vikrant and Shanaya's intimate scenes in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan have been grabbing eyeballs, the 12th Fail actor told Filmygyan, "We've spoken about this. I think it's the trust factor that was built over a point of time. It strikes me that we are both very alike as people. Besides the acting workshop, or you know, chaahe fir woh blind school ki baat ho ya fir you know the challenges as actors we faced, uske alawa when we got to know each other as people, especially during the scene when we opened up as Vikrant and Shanaya and not just as actors, I think that also brought us closer".
