Baby John Box Office Collection Day 8 Early Updates: Baby Johnn is the latest big thing in Bollywood after it was made inspired by one of the most celebrated directors of this generation, Atlee's film Theri (2016), with an ensemble cast featuring Bollywood and South stars. The movie was made on a whopping budget of Rs. 160 Cr and it has earned less than a quarter of that amount in 8 days. However, on New Year's day, the movie has seen a surge in the box office collection.

The Varun Dhawan starrer has earned Rs. 2.25 Cr as of 8pm on day 8, i.e., 2nd Wednesday. The movie has seen a surge compared to day 7 when the movie earned Rs. 2.1 Cr seeing a growth of 13.51% compared to 1st Monday when it minted Rs. 1.85 Cr. With this, the total India nett collection of the film stands at Rs. 34.85 Cr. On the other hand, the India nett collection of the film on day 7 stood at Rs. 32.65 Cr.

Keerthy, who will be seen in the opposite of Varun Dhawan, recently revealed that it was Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who recommended her to the director, "She probably had me in mind when this was happening; that's what Varun also told me. I can't be grateful enough for that. It's so sweet of her to say, 'Keerthy will be able to pull off this character.' Her performance in Theri is one of my favourites in Tamil. Honestly, I was very scared," Keerthy said. Interestingly, it was Samantha who played the role of Keerthy in Theri.
