Baby John Box Office Collection Prediction Day 11: Varun Dhawan-starrer 'Baby John' has been having an underwhelming run at the box office. Directed by Kalees, the Hindi adaptation of Thalapathy Vijay-Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 2016 Tamil blockbuster Theri is struggling to pull audiences to theatres. Bankrolled by Jio Studios, A for Apple & Cine1 Studios Production, Baby John stars Varun Dhawan in the lead alongside Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav among others in key roles. Amid decent buzz, the film hit cinemas on 25th December 2024 (Wednesday) and opened to mostly positive reviews from fans and critics alike. As per Sacnilk, Baby John scored around Rs 11.25 cr on the day of its release, marking Varun's highest opener in the last 5 years. After the solid start, the film witnessed drops in numbers during weekdays and went on to collect Rs 32.65 cr in its first week.
According to Sacnilk, Varun's film saw a sharp drop in numbers and recorded its lowest single day on 2nd Friday (yesterday, 3rd January). The movie reportedly minted around Rs 45 lakhs on 2nd Friday, taking the total estimated nett collection to Rs 36.85 cr in 10 days.

Varun Dhawan's Baby John has been struggling to make a mark at the box office. After Pushpa 2 and the Hindi version of Marco, the film is now facing a tough competition from Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone's 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. On Friday, Varun's film ws smashed by YJHD after its re-release. Given the current buzz, VD's massy action-thriller is likely to continue its struggle and earn around Rs 50 lakhs today (2nd Saturday).
YJHD is set to take over the ticket counters this weekend, taking the audience on a nostalgic trip.
