Baby John Box Office Collection Prediction Day 16: Despite being one of the most highky-anticipated releases of the year, Varun Dhawan starrer massy action entertainer 'Baby John' is struggling to pull audiences to theatres. Mounted on a staggering budget of Rs 160 cr reportedly, the film is far away from recovering even 50% of the budget. Directed by Kalees, the film had its grand theatrical release worldwide on 25th December 2024. For those unversed, Baby John is the Hindi adaptation of Thalapathy Vijay-Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 2016 Tamil blockbuster film 'Theri'.
Baby John Box Office Collection Third Wednesday (Yesterday)
Produced by Atlee, Priya Atlee, Murad Khetani and Jyoti Deshpande, Baby John boasts a dynamic ensemble including names like Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Jackie Shroff, Wamiqa Gabbi and Rajpal Yadav among others. The massy action-entertainer entered to its 3rd week of theatrical run yesterday (Jan 8). Baby John marks Varun's biggest opener in the last 5 years and minted Rs 11.25 cr on the day of its release. Despite a strong start, the film failed to maintain its pace at the box office.
Amid box office dips, the movie went on to earn Rs 32.65 cr in 1st week, followed by a massive drop in numbers on 2nd week. The Varun Dhawan starrer scored Rs 6.5 lakhs approx. in week 2. According to Sacnilk, the film recorded its lowest single day on 3rd Wednesday (yesterday) and added around Rs 20 lakhs on day 15. Now, the total estimated nett collection stands at Rs 39.15 cr in 15 days.

Baby John Box Office Collection Prediction Today
Due to the poor response, multiple shows were cancelled in theatres. Ram Charan-Kiara Advani's 'Game Changer' and Sonu Sood starrer 'Fateh' are releasing tomorrow and will be take away more of Baby John shows.
Given the current trend, Varun's Baby John is likely to see barely any growth today (3rd Thursday). The film is expected to earn less than Rs 25 lakhs today by the end of the day. If the prediction turns out to be right, the film will fail to reach to the Rs 40 cr-mark today before Game Changer and Fateh release.
