Bhool Chuk Maaf Box Office Day 2: Rajkummar’s Film Earns 75% Less Than Maddock Films' Last Release

Bhool Chuk Maaf Box Office Collection Day 2: Rajkummar Rao is all over the headlines and rightfully so. After all, his recent release Bhool Chuk Maaf has finally hit the screens amid massive debate over its theatrical release. Directed by Karan Sharma, Bhool Chuk Maaf also features Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead along with Seema Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav, and Ishtiyak Khan in supporting roles. To note, Bhool Chuk Maaf, which is produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, marks Rajkummar's first collaboration with Wamiqa.

For the uninitiated, Bhool Chuk Maaf revolves around soon to wed couple Ranjan and Titli, played by Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi respectively, and a tumultuous pre-wedding scenario where Ranjan finds himself caught in a bizarre cycle, endlessly repeating the day of his haldi ceremony. The film's compelling cast and captivating trailer have attracted attention since it was first unveiled. While Bhool Chuk Maaf opened to mixed reviews, it saw a slow start at the box office.

After recording an opening day collection of Rs 7 crores, Bhool Chuk Maaf saw a hike of 28.57% on the second day of release but failed to make a double digit collection despite being a Saturday. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhool Chuk Maaf minted Rs 9 crores on day 2 which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 16 crores

Bhool Chuk Maaf Mints 75% Less Than Chhaava

To note, with a collection of Rs 9 crores, Bhool Chuk Maaf has failed to surpass the day 2 collection of Maddock Films' last two releases - Chhaava which minted Rs 37 crores and Sky Force which earned Rs 22 crores on its second day of release.

Meanwhile, Wamiqa spoke about working with Rajkummar during a recent chat with IMDb's 'Ask Each Other Anything' segment and told him, "Working with you was one of my best experiences. I don't know what advice to give you. You've already learned all the lessons in your life and that shows like your empathetic nature, your kindness, your openness, it's a pleasure working with you, Raj".
