Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 1: Vicky Kaushal fans are beaming with joy as he has come with a perfect Valentine's Day gift for his fans with his first release of the year. We are talking about Chhaava which happens to be a historical action drama helmed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. Apart from Vicky, Chhaava also features Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Diana Penty, Alok Nath etc in the lead. Needless to say Chhaava has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

For the uninitiated, Chhaava is based on the life of Maratha king Sambhaji with Vicky playing the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. On the other hand, Akshaye Khanna looked unrecognisable in the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. From the trailer to the impressive cast, everything about Chhaava managed to create a massive buzz in the town and the movie has managed to open to rave reviews from the audience and critics leaving everyone intrigued about its box office performance.

After minting an advance booking collection of Rs 13.79 crores, Chhaava has managed to exceed expectations and minted Rs 31 crores on the opening day (day 1/ first Friday)

Chhaava Become Akshaye Khanna & Vicky Kaushal's Highest Opener

Interestingly, with a collection of Rs 31 crores, Chhaava has managed to mint more than double the collection of Akshay Kumar's Sky Force (Rs 12.25 crores) and became the highest opener of 2025. This isn't all. It has also become the highest opener for Vicky and Akshaye respectively along with recording the highest opening on Valentine's Day.

Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.
