Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 12: The Indian box office has got its first blockbuster with Chhaava and we can't keep calm. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is a historical action drama which features Rashmika Mandanna, Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna in the lead along with Diana Penty, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh and Ashutosh Rana in a supporting role. Touted to be an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant's Marathi novel Chhava, Chhaava features Vicky Kaushal in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj while Rashmika looked stunning as Yesubai Bhonsale along with Akshaye Khanna in the role of Aurangzeb. The movie marks Vicky's second collaboration with director Laxman Utekar after their 2023 release Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. Chhaava has been maintaining a steady hold at the box office during the second week. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava, which minted Rs 18.5 crores at the box office on day 11 (second Monday), made a collection of Rs 18 crores on day 12 (second Tuesday). This took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 363.75 crores
Did Chhaava Beat Pushpa 2 On Second Tuesday?
While Chhaava has been creating new records at the box office, there have been speculations if Chhaava managed to beat Pushpa 2 on the second Tuesday. As per Sacnilk, Chhaava managed to rake in the equal collection as Pushpa 2 on second Tuesday which happens to be around Rs 18.5 crores and recorded highest collection on the second Tuesday. On the other hand, it also recorded the third highest day 12 collection after Pathaan and Jawan.
Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.
