Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 18: Vicky’s Film Sees Over 64% Dip On 3rd Monday; Struggles To Earn 10Cr

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 18: If you are a Vicky Kaushal fan, then you have all the reasons to grin from ear to ear. After all, his recent release has left everyone amazed and in all praises for the Uri: The Surgical Strike actor's commendable performance. Well, we are talking about Chhaava which is helmed by Laxman Utekar and presented Vicky in a never seen before avatar of a Maratha King. Touted to be a historical drama, Chhaava is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan and is one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
Also starring Akshaye Khanna, Rashmika Mandanna, Divya Dutta, Diana Penty, Vineet Kumar Siingh and Ashutosh Rana, Chhaava is an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant's Marathi novel Chhava. While the movie revolves around Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire, it featured Vicky getting into his role while Rashmika was seen as Yesubai Bhonsale and Akshaye Khanna looked unrecognisable as Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. As Chhaava managed to create a massive buzz in the town, it opened to rave reviews and has managed to set the box office on fire since the first day.

After witnessing a thunderous response from the audience during the third weekend, Chhaava saw a massive dip of over 64% in numbers on third Monday (day 18). The historical drama, which struggled to rake in a double digit collection, earned Rs 8.5 crores on day 18 which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 467.25 crores
Chhaava Records Its Lowest Single Day Collection
To note, with a collection of Rs 8.5 crores, Chhaava has recorded its lowest single day collection so far.
It is worth mentioning that given the stupendous success of Chhaava, the movie is now being dubbed in Telugu language. While Chhaava's Telugu trailer was released on March 3, the dubbed version is likely to release on March 7. Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.
