Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 2: Vicky’s Film Roars Loud; Creates A New Record On 1st Saturday

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 2: Vicky Kaushal is all over the headlines and rightfully so. After all, his recent release Chhaava, which is also his first release of 2025, has managed to set the box office on fire. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is a historical action film which is based on the life of Maratha king Sambhaji. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, Akshaye Khanna as the lead antagonist along with Ashutosh Rana, Diana Penty, Vineet Kumar Singh etc, Chhaava has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

For the uninitiated, Chhaava is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant and marks Vicky's second collaboration with Laxman Utekar after their 2023 release Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. Besides, it also marks Vicky's first collaboration with Rashmika and their chemistry has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs. After recording an opening day box office collection of Rs 31 crores, Chhaava saw a jump of 17.74% in numbers on day 2. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava minted Rs 36.5 crores on day 2 (first Saturday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 67.5 crores

Interestingly, with a collection of Rs 36.5 crores, Chhaava has managed to record the highest day 2 collection of the year 2025. This isn't all. It has also recorded the highest first Saturday collection of 2025.
