On Wednesday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis watched Vicky Kaushal's film Chhaava. To note, the movie was made tax free in the state as it was based on Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's life. As per ANI's report, the CM said, "I am happy that a very good movie has been made on his ((Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's) life. I have yet to watch it but I have heard from people that this film has been made without distorting history. There has been a lot of demand from the people to make this film tax-free. I want to inform the people that we removed the entertainment tax in 2017 itself in Maharashtra. We will see what best we can do to promote this film and make it available for maximum people."
