Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 21: Vicky Kaushal's latest release Chhaava has set the box office ablaze from the moment of its release, attracting both audiences and critics alike. The film is an adaptation of the Marathi novel 'Chhava' by Shivaji Sawant, and it explores the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire. Kaushal's portrayal of the majestic Maratha king, together with Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, and Akshaye Khanna's almost unrecognizable transformation into Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb have been met with widespread praise.
Laxman Utekar's direction brings to life a historical saga in Chhaava, with Vicky Kaushal stepping into the shoes of a Maratha King, which marks a significant shift from his earlier roles. Chhaava, which has managed to be a superhit at the box office, was seen struggling at the box office during the third week. And after picking up pace on third Wednesday, Chhaava saw another dip in number on day 21 (third Thursday). According to a report publishedin Sacnilk, after a collection of Rs 6.15 crores on third Wednesday (day 20), Chhaava minted Rs 5.53 crores on day 21 (third Thursday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 483.58 crores
Chhaava Beats Jawan & Pathaan On Day 21
To note, with a collection of Rs 5.53 crores, Chhaava has managed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster hits Jawan and Pathaan on the 21st day of release. For the uninitiated, Jawan had minted Rs 4.45 crores while Pathaan had earned Res 5.4 crores on day 21.
It is worth mentioning that given the stupendous success of Chhaava, the movie is now being dubbed in Telugu language. While Chhaava's Telugu trailer was released on March 3, the dubbed version is likely to release on March 7. Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.
