Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 22: Vicky Kaushal has all the reasons to be in celebratory mode these days. After all, his recent release has emerged as the biggest blockbuster of 2025 so far. We are talking about Chhaava which is a historical drama by Laxman Utekar and is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan. The movie comes with a stellar cast of Vicky, Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in the lead along with Ashutosh Rana, Vineet Kumar Singh, Divya Dutta and Diana Penty in supporting roles.

To note, Chhaava is based on the Marathi novel titled Chhava which was written by Shivaji Sawant. The movie is based on the life of Maratha ruler Sambhaji Maharaj and focussed on his battle against Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. While Vicky Kaushal was seen playing the role of Samhaji Maharaj, Rashmika was seen as Yesubai Bhonsale and Akshaye Khanna looked unrecognisable as Aurangzeb. After wrapping week 3 on a decent note, Chhaava witnessed a hike as it entered week 4 According to a report published in Sacnilk, after a collection of Rs 5.5 crores on third Thursday (day 21), Chhaava minted Rs 6.25 crores on day 22 (fourth Friday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 492.23 crores

Chhaava Creates A New Record

To note, with a collection of Rs 6.25 crores, Chhaava has managed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster hits Jawan on 22nd day of release and recorded the third highest 4th Friday collection. For the uninitiated, Jawan had minted Rs 5.81 on day 21 followed by Stree 2 which earned Rs 5.35 crores

Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.
