Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 3: Vicky’s Film Enters 100Cr Club; Records Its Highest Single Day Number

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 3: Rashmika Mandanna and Vicky Kaushal have collaborated for the first time in Laxman Utekar directorial Chhaava. Touted to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year, Chhaava has been a historical drama based on the life of Maratha king Sambhaji. Apart from Vicky, Chhaava also features Rashmika Mandanna, Divya Dutta, Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana etc in key roles. To note, Chhaava is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.

For the uninitiated, Chhaava features Vicky in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and the movie marks his second collaboration with director Laxman Utekar. They had last worked together in 2023 release Zara Hatkar Zara Bachke which also featured Sara Ali Khan in the lead. Interestingly, Chhaava also featured Rashmika in the role of Yesubai while Askhaye Khanna left everyone in absolute awe with his stint as Aurangzeb. Ever since Chhaava has hit the screens it has managed to set the box office on fire and has been unstoppable ever since.

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 3

After minting Rs 31 crores on the opening day, Chhaava saw a good hike on day 2 wherein it minted Rs 37 crores at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava earned Rs 48.5 crores on day 3 (first Sunday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 116.5 crores

Chhaava Opening Weekend Collection Records

Interestingly, with a collection of Rs 37 crores on first Saturday and Rs 48.5 crores on first Sunday, Chhaava made a collection of Rs 85.5 crores during its opening weekend. To note Chhaava managed to make several records at the box office during the opening weekend including the highest day 3 collection of 2025 and highest first Sunday collection of 2025.

Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.
