Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 3: Vicky’s Film Sees Record Breaking Footfalls; Beats Pathaan With Huge Gap

Chhaava Total Occupancy Day 3: Renowned filmmaker Laxman Utekar's recent directorial Chhaava has been all over the headlines ever since it was announced. After all, it came with a stellar cast of Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna and presented the trio in the never seen before avatar. For the uninitiated, the historical drama is produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and delves into the life of Maratha sovereign Sambhaji. Set against the backdrop of Maratha history, Chhaava has quickly become a must-watch, thanks to its engaging portrayal of Sambhaji's reign.

To note, Chhaava is an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant's Marathi novel Chhava. Vicky Kaushal was seen stepping into the shoes of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, showcasing a dynamic interpretation of the Maratha leader. His performance, alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai, has resonated well with audiences, contributing to the film's box office success. Chhaava has been the fan's top choice on day 3 (first Sunday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava saw an occupancy of 49.82% in the morning shows. This was followed by a footfall of 67.46% during afternoon shows, 72.95% during evening shows and 59.68% during night shows. To note, as Chhaava has managed to be receive rave reviews, the total occupancy for movie turned out to be 62.48% which has been the highest occupancy on day 3 in 2025.

Chhaava Beats Pathaan In Occupancy On Day 3

Interestingly, amid a massive response for Chhaava, Chhaava has managed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's much successful film Pathaan with a huge gap in terms of occupancy on the third day of release. For the uninitiated, Pathaan recorded an occupancy of 14.46% in morning shows, 19.33% in afternoon shows, 34.22% in evening shows, 43.62% in night shows and a total occupancy of 27.91% on day 3.
