According to a report published in Sacnilk, after earning Chhaava Rs 2.35 crores on day 32 (fifth Monday), the movie minted Rs 2.25 crores which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 553.3 crores in the Hindi market on day 33 (fifth Tuesday)

Chhaava Beats Pushpa 2 On Day 33

With a collection of Rs 2.25 crores on day 33, Chhaava has managed to beat Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 and recorded fourth highest collection on day 33 after Stree 2, 3 Idiots and Pathaan respectively. For the uninitiated, Pushpa 2 had earned Rs 1.9 crores on its day 33 of release.

Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila. Laxman Utekar couldn't help but express his admiration for Vicky's presence on set, likening his emergence from the vanity van to that of a lion's entrance. With over 1500 individuals present during filming, a hushed reverence fell over the crowd whenever Vicky, dressed as Chhatrapathi Sambhaji Maharaj, made his appearance. His portrayal was so compelling that it commanded complete silence and respect, making it clear that his aura was nothing short of majestic. "When we used to see him in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's costume with that sword, everyone would stand in attention. No one had the guts to say anything to him because he was Raaze to us and he still is. When he got out of his vanity, the entire crew would become quiet. That's his aura," he recalled.

The director also shared his thoughts on Laxman's approach to filmmaking. He appreciated Laxman's dedication to solving problems with a calm and composed attitude. This approach, according to him, fostered a deep emotional connection among the crew members towards showcasing the glory of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The director marveled at Laxman's ability to maintain tranquility in the face of challenges. "He has been so focused on making the film right, that whenever there is a problem, he will say 'We will try to find a solution together', with that calmness, with that composure, with that love for the team. Everyone on the sets got so emotionally involved with showing the glory of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, because he remained calm. I have no clue how he manages it, but he manages to do it. That's the kind of person he is," he told Pinkvilla.
