Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 35 (Hindi): In 2025, the film industry witnessed the release of "Chhaava," a historical epic that quickly captivated viewers with its rich narrative and powerful performances. Leading the cast, Vicky Kaushal's exceptional portrayal of Maratha King Sambhaji Maharaj stood out, bringing to life the intense rivalry with Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. After witnessing a phenomenal run at the box office, Chhaava has been maintaining a steady hold during week 5. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava minted Rs 2.1 crores on day 35 (fifth Thursday) and this took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 557.75 crores as it wrapped week 5 in the Hindi market
Chhaava Records Highest Week 5 Collection
With a collection of Rs 2.1 crores on day 35, Chhaava has managed to record the highest day 35 collection as it managed to beat Stree 2 which had earned Rs 2 crores on its 35th day of release. On the other hand, Chhaava managed to mint Rs 30.15 crores in week 5 and recorded the highest week 5 collection of all times.
Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila. I am very grateful to Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijay Sir for choosing me for this role. Hamari ek hi koshish hai ki Maharashtra mein to sabko pata hai, bacche-bacchon ko pata hai. Par poori duniya mein, ghar-ghar mein bacche-bacchon ko pata lagna chahiye ki humare raje kaise the". To note, Chhaava also marks Vicky's second collaboration with Laxman Utekar after their 2023 release Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.
At a recent promotional event for the film Chhaava, Vicky shared his deep appreciation for being entrusted with the role of Chhatrapati Maharaj. He described it as a fortunate opportunity, crediting Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijay Sir for their belief in his capability to bring such a significant historical figure to life. Vicky highlighted the importance of not just making the character known in Maharashtra, where the story is well-recognized, but also introducing the valorous deeds and virtues of the king to children and adults around the world.
