Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 5: Vicky’s Film Remains Unstoppable; Records Highest 1st Tuesday

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 5: Vicky Kaushal is all over the headlines these days and for all the right reasons. After all, his recent release Chhaava has managed to set the box office on fire. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is a historical drama which also features Akshaye Khanna, Rashmika Mandanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh etc. The movie is based on the life of Maratha king Sambhaji and is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.
Interestingly, Chhaava has managed to create a massive buzz in the town wherein with its stellar cast, trailer and storyline. Vicky takes on the monumental role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, showcasing his acting prowess in this historical drama. This project brings him together once again with director Laxman Utekar, following their previous collaboration on the 2023 film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. On the other hand Rashmika delivered a compelling performance as Yesubai, bringing depth and emotion to her character. Moreover, the portrayal of Aurangzeb by Akshaye Khanna was met with widespread admiration, as he captured the essence of the historical figure with finesse. Khanna's depiction left audiences and critics alike in awe of his talent and dedication to the role.

After witnessing a massive drop of 50% on first Monday, Chhaava has been maintaining a steady hold at the box office on day 5. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava, which made a collection of Rs 24 crores on day 4 (first Monday), raked in Rs 24.50 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday). This took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 165 crores.
Chhaava Records Highest First Tuesday Collection
Interestingly, Chhaava has managed to beat Sky Force once again and recorded the highest day 5 and highest first Tuesday collection of 2025. For the uninitiated, Sky Force had minted Rs 5.75 crores on first Tuesday.
Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.
