Chhaava Box Office Collection Week 3: Vicky’s Film Creates A HUGE Record; Mints Twice The Numbers Of Pathaan

Chhaava Box Office Collection Week 3: Vicky Kaushal's recent release Chhaava has emerged as a giant storm at the box office and there have been no second thoughts about it. The historical drama is helmed by Laxman Utekar and has been one of biggest releases of the year. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Chhaava has is based on the life of fearless Maratha Warrior Sambhaji Maharaj and his battle with Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. While the trailer and the cast has managed to create a massive buzz in the town, it opened to rave reviews and set new benchmark at the box office almost every day.
Interestingly, Chhaava is an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant's Marathi novel Chhava. Apart from Vicky in the role of Sambhaji Maharaj, Chhaava also features Rashmika Mandanna and Askhaye Khanna in the lead along with Diana Penty, Vineet Kumar Singh, Divya Dutta and Ashutosh Rana in the support role. After creating a havoc at the box office since release, the movie has successfully completed the third week at the ticket windows and has created a new record

Although Chhaava has been witnessing a continuous drop in numbers post the third weekend, it ended the third week on a decent note. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava, which earned Rs 5.53 crores on day 21 (third Thursday), made a total collection of Rs 84.08 crores in week 3.
Chhaava Records Second Highest Week 3 Collection
Interestingly, Chhaava has managed to mint almost twice the collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan in week 3. For the uninitiated, Pathan had minted Rs 45.65 crores in week 3. This isn't all. Chhaava has also recorded the second highest week 3 collection after Pushpa 2: The Rise which had earned Rs 103.05 crores in its week 3.
It is worth mentioning that given the stupendous success of Chhaava, the movie is now being dubbed in Telugu language. While Chhaava's Telugu trailer was released on March 3, the dubbed version is likely to release on March 7. Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.
