According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava, which minted Rs 7.25 crores on day 31 (fifth Sunday), earned Rs 2.35 crores on day 32 (fifth Monday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 551.05 crores in the Hindi market

Chhaava Fails To Beat Stree 2, Pushpa 2

With a collection of Rs 2.35 crores on day 32, Chhaava has minted less than half the collection of Stree 2 and Pushpa 2. For the uninitiated, Stree 2 had minted Rs 6.75 crores while Pushpa 2 had earned Rs 5.6 crores on its day 32 of release.

Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila. I am very grateful to Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijay Sir for choosing me for this role. Hamari ek hi koshish hai ki Maharashtra mein to sabko pata hai, bacche-bacchon ko pata hai. The atmosphere on set was electric, with over 1500 individuals pausing their activities, their attention riveted on him the moment he stepped out. "There were 1500 people on our sets. Even when there is a little chaos, when Raaze got out of his vanity, it felt as though a lion is coming. When we used to see him in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's costume with that sword, everyone would stand in attention. No one had the guts to say anything to him because he was Raaze to us and he still is. When he got out of his vanity, the entire crew would become quiet. That's his aura," the filmmaker explained, highlighting the profound impact Vicky had, effortlessly embodying the essence and authority of his character.
