Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 4 Update: Ever since its announcement, Laxman Utekar's latest film Chhaava, featuring the dynamic trio of Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna, has been generating significant buzz. The movie, which is a deep dive into the life and times of Maratha leader Sambhaji, is a production of Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. Its setting in the Maratha era and its fresh portrayal of historical figures have positioned it as a film not to be missed.
Adapted from Shivaji Sawant's Marathi novel of the same name, Chhaava showcases Vicky Kaushal in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, bringing a vibrant and powerful portrayal of the Maratha ruler. Chhaava has been roaring loud at the box office during the opening weekend and saw a jump of over 30% in collection on day 3 (first Sunday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava minted Rs 48.5 crores on day 3 (first Sunday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 116.5 crores after the opening weekend. Interestingly, Chhaava has been maintaining a good hold at the box office on first Monday (day 4) and has raked in Rs 24 crores
Chhaava Beats Raazi Lifetime Box Office Collection
Interestingly, with a total collection of Rs 140.50 crores, Chhaava has managed to surpass the lifetime box office collection of Vicky and Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi and became Vicky's second highest grossing film after Uri: The Surgical Strike. For the uninitiated, Uri: The Surgical Strike had minted Rs 123.84 crores in its lifetime at the box office.
